  Hotel Suisse is the cleanest place I have ever stayed, polished wood parquet floors, the bathrooms very modern, and the wi-fi worked great in the room! Each room is a bit different.   Hotel Ercoli is a very clean and friendly place. The room is really small (we had standard double) so it suits for those who are looking for a good bed in the end of a long day spent in beautiful Rome. There is a very good breakfast (fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs, jams, cakes, yogurts, etc.). She was so friendly and helpful to explain everything about the facilities and different places to visit. Also she informed ask about bus services and times. The owners went overboard to make you feel at home and answered our many questions with knowledge and added their own little bits to make it a great experience. as for the location it was great within walking distance of the central bus/train station.   The staff is nice and will make you feel welcome. The rooms are OK. It's a 5 minute walk from Termini train station and city centre is not far away. Breakfast is decent. I would say it's expensive for what you get, but in fact it's very good value for money for a place like Rome. I was glad I stayed there. - The place was clean, well located.
