  The Staff. My wife and I have visited many hotels and we believe our experience at the Tullamore Court was one of the best we have had. This was mainly due to the staff. Their friendliness, helpfulness & professionalism was excellent. The Tullamore Court are on the right path. - Check-in and restaurant staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Availed of breakfast in bed and late check out with minimal extra cost. Really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return.

  A genuine, friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely position facing Grand Canal with towpath and other walks nearby. Superb breakfasts served in a delightful modern room overlooking the garden.   Just back from a one night stay at the Stables Guest house in Birr. WoW!..beautiful rooms which have been recently renovated to a fabulous standard. Deep pile carpets,luxurious wallpaper,and all the modern facilities you would need, while still maintaining the Georgian features of such a beautiful house. The Gift Emporium and Cafe round off a truly great experience,the Stables represen - The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The bed was sheer comfort and luxury. I loved the alcove dinning room. The owner Caroline is easy going and friendly and gave us great information about where to eat in the local area.   We stayed in the deluxe double room which is definitely a bit of old fashioned luxury (4 poster bed!!)...we received a warm welcome & there were loads of lovely extra touches that made emmet house feel like a home from home (when we asked for an iron, shirley offered to iron my husbands shirt & we had a hot water waiting in our bed every n... vad folk säger » gt!). Shirley also pointed us to a free car park so we could leave our car & not worry about parking tickets for the wkend. location wise, it coul - There was a fourposter bed in a room with a view of the main square, yet it felt like home. We were so welcomed at Emmet House, pampered with treats and very comfortable. We so enjoyed sitting by the window watching the world go by. Lots to see and do in the area.

The welcome we got on arrival was so friendly & we were reassured that any help or service we needed would be no trouble........even down to leaning me a scissor & sellotape to wrap a wedding present ! - The welcome the moment you enter the hotel friendly and smiling ... vad folk säger » staff. We wanted to avoid getting into cities while we were having a driving tour of Ireland and this place was perfect. They were very obliging in relation to our Family staying for a Family Wedding ( In total 2 Childern and 7 Adults) and assisting us with Names for locate Beautician/Hairdressers. We visited Birr Castle when we were 16 years old and Walcot brought back all the magic and romance of that visit!   I loved staying in this castle. It was full of history and very old furniture. All the guest rooms were uniquely designed and furnished. Besides all of this, the castle is haunted, which adds to the overall atmosphere! Helen, who is employed at the castle, was especially helpful in assisting us in securing our preferred accommodation. She is an exemplary staff member and for this we are very grateful as she made our - Upon arriving the staff was so exceptionally friendly and helpful. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this was by far the best reception I've experienced. The bar staff was another experience altogether!!!! We waited for likely more than half an hour for our meal...but when it arrived..it was the best pasta I've eaten...compliments to the chef!!!! The facilities were great of course because of it being a castle!! But we didn't experience any spirits or ghosts..
