  The owners were friendly and helpful, offering options to pay via cash or credit card. They also worked with us to provide an alternate breakfast, as we had to leave early in the morning. The room was comfortable, clean and charming.   The outstanding rating; (as I write, 8.8) should tell you all you need to know about Rossbeigh Beach House... but since you’ve come here expecting a slightly more detailed viewpoint let me start by saying, if the most important thing in real estate is location, location, location then this B&B has a head start in its global positioning. The owner greeted us warmly and showed us to our rooms, then made us a pot of tea that we enjoyed as we overlooked the incredibly view of the sea. The place is updated, spacious with good amenities. The owner spoke to us by our first names throughout the stay, went out of her way to make our stay a good one, and was flexible about hours for meals. The food was excellent and plentiful.   The Welcome we received from Mary and James began our stay on a wonderful note. The ambiance of the lodge was so welcoming. The selection of food for breakfast catered to all taste buds and was presented immaculately. It is in a superb location. - Mary and James were the perfect hosts making every aspect of our visit stress free including arranging a baby sitter and a lovely seat at a restaurant in town. The Lodge itself is meticulously maintained and our room was perfect. Breakfast was lovely and our son loved the pancakes, home made scones were also delicious. We will be back again.

  We're just back from only 1 night's stay at this fabulous country house. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to a welcome from Conor, who immediately guessed who we were before we even introduced ourselves! It seemed like he was eagerly awaiting our arrival!. We were immediately impressed with the location, stunning house & beautiful gardens even... vad folk säger » though it was quite a cold but beautifully sunny April afternoon, Conor immediately began advising us to get out and about, exciting us with all the - Bridget and Conor were very welcoming upon arrival at Gleannn Fia Country House. The grounds are beautiful, nestled along a babbling stream in a very peaceful, serene and quiet setting. Aftternoon tea was a special treat, as were the delicious breakfasts. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.   Anne and Finbar were exceptional hosts following an adventureous and spectaclur drive from Kenmare around the Ring of Kerry. Upon arrival they were warm, friendly and supportive in helping us trouble shoot our damaged rental car and arrange for a replacement. This could have been a great hardship, yet they both went out of their way to ensure we h... vad folk säger » ad a relaxing and peaceful evening before heading to the Dingle Peninsula. The breakfast was also excellent comparable to those of our most expensive - This a is gem of a place! The location is great, right by the river and close to the town and all its amenities and has ample parking. Our room looked out over the river and had a delightful sitting area, was comfortable and very clean. Anne and her husband are wonderful hosts and full of local information should you need it. Great location for driving the Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula etc. Breakfast was great too - if you are looking to stay in this area you won't do better.

  We were only staying one night and there was a mix-up in the date, my error, but we were still kindly given a room without a problem. The room was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view of the golf course. We were treated kindly, breakfast was excellent and we would stay here again. - Deidre is just a fantastic host!   The guest accommodations were clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. We stayed in the family room and it was the perfect getaway. The children loved playing on the beach close by, sat in the living room and played chess and even threw the baseball in the front yard area.   This was by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Our hosts Lillian and Dom were amazing. They went out of their way for us, and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was charming and spotless. Thank you so much for making our holiday so very special, we promise, we will be back - Our hosts Dominic & Lillian's warm hospitality, generous hearty breakfast and evening meals, a blazing open fire, musical talents, local history and more, made our stay so memorable.
