Brilliant value, friendly bar in the hotel along with restaurant and bar next door. Excellent service in the restaurant and good breakfast - as I am a coeliac, I asked if they had any gluten free bread and yes they had!. Apartment was lovely, very clean and spacious. Good value for money. Easily accessible and convienent to Limerick city. Hotel was easy to find; signs were posted and easy to follow. alla recensioner »
Hospitality. The service at breakfast was outstanding. An elderly lady, who seemed to be in charge, looked after us like a mother. She was bright, cheerful and so helpful. I felt like being at home.. Friendly reception and bar staff. Excellent restaurant next door.the room was large, clean and comfortable. best value hotel i have stayed in. Frendliness of the staff. Shuttle bus service to Thomand Park. We arrived after an early morning flight and were allowed into our rooms at 10:00 am, and could then still get breakfast in the associated bistro-pub next door after 10:30 am. Breakfast was very good value at €7.50 in both hotel and pub.i did convey my complaints to the reception in the moring and also complimented how nice the bedroom was. ladies at breakfast excellent very helpful and very nice. nice to see cheerful staff. The room was very quite even the hotel being very close to the highway. quiet room---away from the road. that nobody tried 2 disturb us. It was casual and relaxing. A very relaxed and friendly atmosphere generated by the staff, and of course the bar. Good parking facilities. Perfect location for where I needed to be during my stay.great value, location. offered what was required for the stay,. Location to Shannon airport and ease of finding it.very usefu for early morning flights out of shannon. it was cheap and fun.Excellent breakfast. Price. Location was excellent as near to airport and Limerick. Breakfast was good but limited choice for vegetarians. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed there because we had an early flight out of Shannon the following morning and found it very good value and near the airport.Twin room was actually a full four-person apartment (double + twin), kitchen, living room, ..... Good, accomodating staff. Very friendly. watch a rugby match. ease of access. easy parking. Easy to find. It would be hard for me to give an honest answer as we were only therefor a short time. We arrived at about eight thirty had a few drinks inbar and we got up at six in morning and left. Convenience to Shannon Airport. clean and nice sized room. Ease of access to airport. Relax and quiet. fine. The bar was welcoming and the price of drink offered great value. Okay for a business trip, wouldn't go there for a leisure break. close to family in ireland. The company!!. Did exactly what it said on the tin - a room for a night at a cheap price. easy to access, value for money. Convenience to airport. The room was warm. Located outside the city. A little isolated, therefore had to use taxis. Our double room had a very small double bed and a single bed. We ended up using it as a twin because the "double" bed was just too small. Car park needs surfacing. there was no entertainment in the hotel bar on that friday night. the food in the bar was not at the standard we were expecting. Room was far too hot and impossible to sleep. Could not turn off heat.Probably needs some refurbishment but nevertheless represented excellent value for money. I had a problem with the door, it kept rattling when people were going through the hallway , i was in room 205 and it was right next to the door as you go through the hallway, my bedroom door was not tight onlt locked by a chain and there was a lot of play between the door and gam, also the smoking alarm went off at 5.am i dont see why i should be blown out of it because of some other idiot smoki. It's not easy to reach the hotel if you don't have a car. no radio in bedroom. the bathroom needed updating. the decoration was ugly and we were facing the big road.Lobby might need a refurb. Reception seemed understaffed. We had to request another pillow twice. Only 2 pillows on bed and only 1 spare pillow in wardrobe. We thought there maybe 2 spare pillows considering a double room. The dual carriageway next to the hotel is very busy so it was quite noisey. Also, as the room was on the ground floor, we did not think that is was safe to leave a large window open all night.Hotel was huge, was like a maze. It was slightly shabby and the lobby needed cleaning...there were cobwebs on the light fixtures, etc. To be fair...this was the off-season and they may wait until now to do the bulk of the sprucing up.unable to adjust heat in bedroom-knob to turn radiator was broken-room too hot. It is a pity that there was not something for kids to do. We stayed withkids (ageing 8, 14, 15 ). we were with another couple and had a fewdrinks in bar (only ones there) and kids were a bit bored. Would have expected bed to be more comfortable. Unfortuntely, you can be disturbed by traffic noise, but you have to bear in mind, that you may choose this hotel to be close to Shannon Airport and it is a busy road. bed was a bit lopsided. Very worn bedding. Rooms need updating.Bath not clean and plug hole fullof hair. Smells in rooms, very stale. in my friend room the door kept bangging had to put a chair to stop it.The other couple room the mattress sank in the middle they couldn't sleep.Mine, switch off the heat it was too hot.bit basic. Having to go out for the evening meal - fortunately it was not raining. Room decor was a bit dated. having to pay separately for breakfast. Spiders...Fire Alarm sounded several times hroughout the night fo no apparent reason...Girlfriend got locked in the bathroom...Poor television. The hotel was very noisey at night, the doors arent very solid so when people enter and leave their roomd you can here everything. Also even though i had turned the power off in the room when i was going to sleep a light by the door came on at 4 am and i couldnt turn it off.No deadbolt or chain on door. Had to check out at 6 am and the night porter was missing. Waited 30 minutes to check out.. Room was cold, had to ask to put on heating, toilet didn't flush but was moved promptly when asked, during a major rugby match, didn't have sky sports to show live on tele in bar even though they had a big screen, had to go out and across to bar, no news papers. Not in city center. The window in the corridor beside our room was broken with a plastic sheet covering it, when we arrived at 8pm, not a very welcoming sight, safety wise, and did not instill much confidence in hotel security. There were no soft drinks or bottles of water in the corridor machine dispenser and the radiator pipes were rattling loudly all night so we didn't get any sleep. No restaurant within hotel. Over run with school tours and kids in the bar late in the evening and noise from them. No ATM machine within walkind distance or on site.
