  We were pleasantly surprised by this one. I expected a backpacker hostel-type experience, but our room was on par with the nicer B&Bs and hotels we've stayed at. The staff were friendly at check-in and helped us arrange a cab to the ferry port the next day. There are stops for the Dublin Bus nearby to return to the city center, although there... vad folk säger » are also some shops and restaurants in the neighborhood (and their own pub downstairs) if you'd rather stay close for dinner. The view from the fron - Gorgeous location on the harbor.... Outside seating is plentiful. Full bar in the restaurant. Be sure to try their fish and chips and also their wings! We were staying at there hotel and thought food might not be good. We were pleasantly WRONG. All but the last of 3 days the food was excellent (we had breakfast, lunches and dinners on various days).   Staying at The Gibson Hotel was a pleasure. The rooms are fantastic, they are very comfortable and stylish. The shower is huge and again very stylish. The bed's are massive too and like sleeping on a big marshmallow. There are lots of nice little touches like a basket of apples by the lift, little post it notes in certain areas of the room. Och priset var lågt med tanke på denna utmärkta standard! - Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the breakfast as well.   Bra läge, fräscht - Bra pool och träningsanläggning. Det fungerar bra att gå till Centrum för att shoppa och äta (tar ca 15 minuter). Dyrt att parkera bil fanns ett garage ett par minuter från hotellet 30 Euro dygnet ( i princip det bästa alternativet). Rummet hade en dubbel och en enkel säng vilket var utmärkt för vårt behov.   I liked the hotel decor. Though my room was small like most europeanhotel rooms the room was charming. The breakfast was very good and Iappreciated getting to order a hot breakfast off of the menu. It waslocated only 5 minutes from the train station which was then only a 10minute drive into the city. It was a 5 minute walk to 2 excellentrestaurants... vad folk säger » , a Thai and Roly's Bistro. Make reserva - I loved the fact that we were outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close enough only 10 mins on the Dart which there were very frequent. The atmosphere of the area and the townhouse itself helped us to completely relax.

  Excellant and helpful staff. Rooms are very comfortable. They even had new glossy magazines to read which was brilliant. Lovely warm atmosphere in hotel. Would reccomend. - Everything it was clean staff were friendly, all foreign, very friendly and helpful will be back. i love dublin cant wait to go back.

  Lovely old bulding in nice area of Dublin , very friendly and helpful receptionist , our suite on top floor was amazing , we loved four poster bed and wonderful hot tube. There was selection of dvd's to watch , air condition , well equiped kitchen and even sauna in the suite ! Balcony and special room with pc and even printer were there too.
