  The room was very spacious and had a small kitchenette. Having a ear plug was a nice touch due to being in a busy area. Also, having a jacuzzi tub in the room was a bonus.   We stayed in the Vatnsstigur 11 building, which is perfectly located just off the main street Laugevegur - close to everything, but not disturbed by nightlife at all. No reception staff, but self check-in and finding the room key was easy. Just 200 yards from the sea front and the Sun Voyager statue. The one bedroom apartment (403) was great.   A quiet house in a residential area. It feels more like you've visited someone's house than staying in a hotel. There are several shared bathrooms, which are well equipped and maintained. There's even a full bath in one. There's a full kitchen with dishes, pots and pans and a fridge so you can cook meals if you wish. I think it's under-rated and I - The interior of the house is very nice, the shared areas as well as guests' rooms are furnished with taste. 1 bathroom for 2 rooms (not for the whole guesthouse).   Alfred was very friendly and helpful in arranging Flybus booking to make our stay pleasant as possible. Room is well equipped to make simple hot meals with cooker and microwave oven. Rooms are clean, no regular room service as it is a serviced apartment. Bathroom is large compared to larger hotels we have stayed in here. Location is v good. Noise is expected from street, crow - Great location, within walking distance of everything. Hallidor, the resident manager was amazing. Friendly and informative, anything we needed he provided if possible. I had a studio and it was perfect for me and my fiance'. Nice and cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked with all cookware and utensils, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. The grocery store, Bonus, is literally at the corner and across the street. Can't wait to go back next year!!

  We arrived early, unannounced, and were warmly welcomed and shown to our room even though it was not quite ready. One of the owners proceeded to put the duvets and pillowcases on the bed while we chatted with her, just as a friend might do with a house guest. They really took care of us even though we were only there overnight. As other - Good clean and warm guesthouse. Very warm, casual and homely welcome from owners Edda and Runar. Very clean, comfortable and warm room with good fast wifi Internet. Breakfast buffet incredibly good, and they will accommodate you if you need some extra rest in the morning. Edda and Runar very helpful in general when I needed to find somewhere in the city or arrange anything. They also arranged a great Golden Circle tour for me with pickup from the door; I was even provided with packed lunc
