Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full.
Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs.
Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available
Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value.
Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities.
Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.

We live in Crete (East) but have not been to Chania before and we found the old port to be very beautiful.

chairs, a kitchenette in the room stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking

I stayed in Santa Marina Plaza more than a week at the beginning of September 2013. I liked wonderful view from my terrace (front sea view room) and the beach. Very convinient location - not far from Chania and with many shops and restaurants near the hotel.

They have brand new mattresses of good quality! Not to hard and not to soft.
Although start of the season, they had allready filled the pool.
The grounds are very well maintained.
Free Wifi is available. Maybe not yet in all the rooms. But at the pool and in the lounge/lobby it works fine.
Everybody is motivated to make sure you have a wonderfull time.

The staff were fantastic, the rooms were large and we were lucky enough to have a seaview. The all inclusive rate was so good. The meals were very nice and it is a magic location. The rooms, pool and restaurant are all very clean (and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness)! We would recommend this highly and would glady make a return visit for a longer period

We didn't get the bracelet for all inclusive which makes you feel more comfortable, instead the staff is trying to know better their guests having a friendly and relaxed communication with all of them. Quit during the night, so you could sleep well. Good food, tasty food.

Παρά πολύ καλό φαγητό με μεγάλη ποικιλία και στα γλυκά. Δεν σας κρύβουμε ότι πήραμε μερικά κιλάκια. Το προσωπικό στο εστιατόριο πάρα πολύ εξυπηρετικό, γρήγορο και πρόθυμο. Ιδιαιτέρως ο Νίκος η Χριστίνα, η Μαρτίνα και μαζί τους βεβαίως η μετρ, η κυρία Ρένα. Η θέα φοβερή και ο ύπνος βαθύς.
