  I recently (May 2013) went to Crete by myself prior to a business trip in Greece and as a woman traveling solo, I was most concerned with a safe and friendly place to stay at. After much research on the web I chose Sevach Apts based on previous reviews. Kostas and his family are the nicest people in the hospitality business that you will ever meet... vad folk säger » . They are friendly, attentive, extremely helpful and they care very much about their guests. My room was simple yet nicely decorated. It was cleaned - We have spent 5 days in the place and really enjoyed the location close to the sea. Just crossing the road takes to the beach and two restaurants nearby. There is a bus stop, several shops around and you can rent a car as well. The town is not noisy while still on a short distance to Chania. The closest beach is not a large one but it is still convenient and you can get in 10 minutes by bus to another one, much larger. Great food in local restaurants, nice location for a late walk.   We spent ten days at Mythos Beach Hotel and Apartments, and enjoyed our stay very much. We had a beautiful big apartment, with views both over the close sea and the mountains. A quiet place in the night, no disturbing traffic outside. Our children appreciated the clean nice pool much, so did we. The location of the hot - The staff (especially the day staff, Georgia and Sylvia) were wonderful - probably the most friendly and helpful we have ever encountered on holiday. The apartment was well-presented, comfortable and immaculately clean. Maleme is a fairly quiet resort but - overall - Mythos Beach's location and proximity to the beach make it ideal for a quiet, relaxing break.

  Vill man ha lugn och ro, kan man inte bo bättre. Kostade en slant, men var för den skull absolut inte dyrt. Full valuta för pengarna. - A really nice place for a relaxed vacation. Service is excellent, and the places really feels out of the way of regular tourism. A really charming "taberna" closeby serves really tasty food. There is a small shop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

  I've came back from Royal Sun hotel few days ago. We spent there whole week, and if I will be ever back in Chania I will choose this same hotel one more time :).   Fantastic resort. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The stand out was the friendliness of the staff - they were extremely helpful, from telling us the best places to eat and drink in town and making reservations for us, to organising a packed breakfast for us when we had to leave very early on our last day. There are lots of fre - As people have always been my first priority while travelling I can't help saying a few words about the staff.. They are very professional, useful, always ready to help and superfriendly. All of them,starting from the reception guys and finishing by our housemaid, did their best to let us feel like at home. I did regret we were staying only six days It was really sad to leave.

  The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see - The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

  I really have to say that this is a very very nice and friendly hotel. Not only the value for money but also the location and Design of the hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with a good spa shop and friendly atmosphere. And there is George, the owner of the hotel bar. I have to say that this guy really made our holidays.
