  We stayed in Rimida for 4 nights in september 2013 and really liked it. The view is AMAZING, the room has everything you need, including cooking appliances. Its a short walking distance from the center of Oia, and yet, it´s a very quiet and relaxing place.The room is like a cave, very nice. Everything was very clean and well mantained.   Magnificent view of caldera and sunsets, as described. Upon arrival were surprised to have a suite with fridge and cooking facilities instead of only a double room with extra cot as ordered. This was very beneficial as we saved money on breakfasts and enjoyed hospitality on our balcony.   Mr. Sigalas is a wonderful host! He picked us up at the port and drove us to the villa. He had us laughing and feeling like we were part of the family. His two daughters run the reception and they will arrange anything you need. They were able to set up rental cars, restaurant reservations, boat trips, whatever. They had only been open for 2 years when we stayed there, and Mr S - I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. It is highly competitive too. What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance.   Location, location, location! The hotel is exactly in the right place of Oia - the most charming part of the town, a few steps away from the observatory where everybody else will run to to watch the sunset.   We have just returned from a truly magnificent stay at Atalos Villas. Itis wonderful and Yiannis and his wife are fabulous hosts. Theaccommodation is charming with a real Greek flavour; everything is cleanand well presented. The whole family owned this hotel was quite friendly and warm. Becides of the free pickup from/to port and airport, Mr.Argyros even drove his van to show us around the downtown of Kamari village and pointed out the location of supermarkets, post office and bus stops. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Atalos very much!

  Very central hotel, 50m to kamari beach. many taverns, supermarkets and rent-a-cars within 100m, so you get everything you need. kamari beach is a little overcrowded and the water is not really nice. But just rent a scooter - car - ATV and you get to the nicest beaches on santorini. There is also a bar / cafè with the hotel which is not that - the host is the old man. and his daughter is really nice! so friendly they are! the location is closely to the beach.

  Next to the beach - only few meters away. Friendly stuff. Rooms with sea view have hot outdoor bathtubs. Kamari is just next to the airport, so you can spot the descending planes from you bedroom window. Nice, but noizy. - Right in front of the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops

  I like both the location of the hotel and the host. They are family, always with smile, helpful, easy, flexible and care for guests. George, Barbara and their daughter are fantastic. room is great.   Lovely room with beautiful views. Very helpful friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. We were met at the airport and then taken to the port to catch our ferry to Crete. A really great place to stay. - Nearly everything was very well.   Best hosts we have ever had at any place we have been before on holidays. We booked a budget friendly accommodation and received much more than can be expected for the price. Mikalis and Anna - the managers of "Ambeli Apartments" were amazing. We received an outstanding service from the first minute on. It starts with a welcome- drink and ended up... vad folk säger » with a beautiful delicious bbq Anna & Mikalis have organised for us and other very nice guests. They gave us the feeling as we would make part of - Michalis and Anna were absolutely amazing and made my time at Ambeli a true delight. The lovely apartment was facing the pool with double doors opening to views of the hills from the bedroom at the back - beautiful! It was a few minutes walk from the end of the beach strip so was lovely and quiet while still being so close to the beach and some lovely bars and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else thinking of it.

  Its all about the view so as you arrive and go thru the picture frame entrance its a wow feeling:) reception staff fabulous , friendly, helpful Great feel as Kavalari is built into the cliff. Amazing sitting on balcony it terrace at any time watching the view or lustening to the stillness or the donkey bells or the church bells. Lots if steps ever... vad folk säger » ywhere but that us Santorini and bit if fitness does us all good:) good continental bfast on the terrace and many cafes and restaurants immediate vici - Hotel had an amazing location right on the caldera, which is a must for Santorini. Just not worth the experience without it. People pay big money to eat at restaurants to get the same view you have from your hotel. Great staff that were nice and spoke English. Excellent continental breakfast. Reasonable price. Right in the mix of things near the golden road. They had air conditioning.

  The start of our tour of some of the Beautiful Greek Islands, and we hit the Jackpot here, Lovely Cute Clean Hotel, the owners made us feel like part of the family from minute we checked in until we had to say goodbye (even gave us gifts) Lovely view from balcony, clean nice relaxing pool, backed onto Kamari Volcanic Sand Beach, restaurants and b... vad folk säger » ars all within walking distance. Classy and well looked after place, a must see if travelling around Greece, highly recommended. We will be back again - The landlord, Marios, was very welcoming, and answered all the questions we had regarding beaches, transport, restaurants etc. The room was just like the pictures, fantastic view over the beach, and included all the facilities that you need. They cleaned the room every day, fresh towels and clean sheets every other day. Quiet location, but still close to bars, beach and restaurants. We had a lovely vacataion, and will definitely stay here again.

  Everything was great... We stayed 8 days in Fira and the hotel is perfectly located in the very centre of the town, close to everything. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was simply amazing... The caldera view from the private terrace is stunning, and there is no need to move from the room to enjoy the sunset. The view only is worth every pen... vad folk säger » ny that you pay for the room, which is a nice room (especially the bathroom and the huge jacuzzi!!!) but definetely what makes it a 5 star hotel room - We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom.
