We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. We were lucky to stay at Rimida Villas, it located outskirt of Oia, with a view of the whole town, we had seen a great sunset right outside our door one evening. I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. It is highly competitive too. What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance. The whole family owned this hotel was quite friendly and warm. Becides of the free pickup from/to port and airport, Mr.Argyros even drove his van to show us around the downtown of Kamari village and pointed out the location of supermarkets, post office and bus stops. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Atalos very much!

Very central hotel, 50m to kamari beach. many taverns, supermarkets and rent-a-cars within 100m, so you get everything you need. kamari beach is a little overcrowded and the water is not really nice. But just rent a scooter - car - ATV and you get to the nicest beaches on santorini.

Next to the beach - only few meters away. Friendly stuff. Rooms with sea view have hot outdoor bathtubs.
Kamari is just next to the airport, so you can spot the descending planes from you bedroom window. Nice, but noizy. -

Michalis and Anna were absolutely amazing and made my time at Ambeli a true delight. The lovely apartment was facing the pool with double doors opening to views of the hills from the bedroom at the back - beautiful! It was a few minutes walk from the end of the beach strip so was lovely and quiet while still being so close to the beach and some lovely bars and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else thinking of it.

Hotel had an amazing location right on the caldera, which is a must for
Santorini. Just not worth the experience without it. People pay big
money to eat at restaurants to get the same view you have from your
hotel. Great staff that were nice and spoke English. Excellent
continental breakfast. Reasonable price. Right in the mix of things near
the golden road. They had air conditioning.

The landlord, Marios, was very welcoming, and answered all the questions we had regarding beaches, transport, restaurants etc. The room was just like the pictures, fantastic view over the beach, and included all the facilities that you need. They cleaned the room every day, fresh towels and clean sheets every other day. Quiet location, but still close to bars, beach and restaurants. We had a lovely vacataion, and will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great... We stayed 8 days in Fira and the hotel is perfectly located in the very centre of the town, close to everything. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was simply amazing... We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom.
