Highly recommended!! I liked everything about it! It's almost like I don't want to say too much because I was so positively surprised by how we were taken care of. I've never had a better hotel experience (even at fancy places), and it felt like staying with a nice Greek family. FYI: don't get a taxi at the port, but look for the Hotel Grotta van, they pick you up. Or you can simply walk a little ways away from the ferry (we came by ferry) and look up to your left. You can see the yellow hotel

I enjoyed the calm, family environment. The room was ideal for me as being on a small budget I was very happy to be able to self cater for my family due to there being a fridge in the room. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and pleasant.
Access to beaches are all via bus or a good hike away (but well worth the trip)
Therefore the pool at the hotel was a welcome extra and great for the kids.

Everything - the fact that it was a small family run hotel, the service was very personal, there was nothing Irini or her family would not do for you, but equally they left you alone to enjoy the holiday. Every care was taken to ensure my stay was pleasant. My room was comfortable and clean and the view was spectacular from the lounge.
