  We liked the hotel so much, that we could easily recommend it to our friends. It is very quite and green place, aproximately 10 minutes walk from the sea. The beach is great in Malia. The staff was very friendly and helpful.   The views are superb. The location is convenient,. It's very peaceful and quiet. Though small, the studio apartments are comfortable.   Hotel with great swimming pool next to the beach. Only 9 apartments so the pool is not crowded, it's more like private pool ;) Wonderful owner who is technical and relaxed at the same time so the holiday was stress free. We are defenately coming back next year. - Our stay was very good, the owner was the most friendly and client-oriented person we met during our 2weeks trip to Greece. It is only 2 min walk from the beach across the road. The room was big and quiet. The shops are 5-10 min walking. The pool was nice and clean. The hotel in not crowded.

  Stone Village is a marvelous place, it’s the best hotel we’ve ever been to. Actually it doesn’t have the feeling of a hotel because you feel like you are in your own little Cretan village, except that everything is meant to serve your comfort needs and wellbeing. The breakfast is fresh, delicious, varied and there’s plenty of - My husband and I stayed at Stone Village, Bali, for two weeks with our three children of 9, 14 and 17. Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious with a lovely view from the two balconies, and it was kept spotlessly clean by the cleaning staff every day.   We stayed here in Crete and really enjoyed it. The hotel itself was quite comfortable and surrounded by beautiful mountains and rugged greenery with sea views. There was a small pool (slightly chlorinated too much), but great place to chill out and cool off. They serve great snacks and drinks and excellent food in the restaurant. Kiki and her mum ... vad folk säger » (the chef) who look after the restaurant were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Nearby are lovely places to explore and the hotel is happy to provide - Unique experiencing staying in a small Cretan mountainside village but relative style and comfort. Owner has done an excellent job turning old village houses into lovely accommodations. Staff are also very accommodating.
