  We stayed in the economy studio, and upon our arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of local wine. The location of the hotel was really ideal - It was just far enough outside of the city that we could walk to the beach in less than five minutes, and walk into the city in 20-30 minutes. The staff was also one of the most accommodating we have ever... vad folk säger » had. She was extremely helpful in suggesting places for day trips and how to get to and from anywhere we went. She always offered to make any travel - Beautiful hotel, very clean and well looked after. Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full. Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs. Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value. Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities. Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.   The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see - The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

  Apartments were very good size, and cleaned daily. The pool area,bar and gardens were well looked after.   Hotel with great swimming pool next to the beach. Only 9 apartments so the pool is not crowded, it's more like private pool ;) Wonderful owner who is technical and relaxed at the same time so the holiday was stress free. We are defenately coming back next year. - Our stay was very good, the owner was the most friendly and client-oriented person we met during our 2weeks trip to Greece.   We have just spent fabulous days in Chania to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The Sun City Hotel was a great choice: clean, comfortable, near beautiful beaches, only 10 minutes from the city center (by car), 2 supermarkets in the same road. Gian Luca & Annalisa. - The staff were very friendly, and the whole atmosphere was superb. The manager told me the day of my arrival that everyone within the hotel was a big family, and it was true. I met people there that kept visiting the hotel for more than 10 years, and after staying there I understand why. I would truly recommend the hotel.

  The staff was extremely nice. They booked a taxi to the airport for us for a very good price and they recommended us good restaurants and places to visit. The location of the hotel is also perfect, close to the city center but far away from the noise.   As a backpacker I really enjoyed staying in Elea. The apartments are really nice, the swimming pool and the short distance from the beach can save you on a hot day. The owners were friendly and helpful with me. Close to Elea one can also find traditional bakeries and super markets with local products. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cosy environment during ho - The setting and cosy nature of the apartments with a chance to meet many other travellers. A central swimming pool to beat the heat. Supermarkets and a safe, picturesque swimming beach was within easy walking distance. A bus stop was close by to take us into Chania's historic port and Old Town. The apartments were set up for self catering but the Elea kiosk had some lovely home and family traditional cooked dishes on the menu. A number of other restaurants were nearby.
