  We stayed in the economy studio, and upon our arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of local wine. The location of the hotel was really ideal - It was just far enough outside of the city that we could walk to the beach in less than five minutes, and walk into the city in 20-30 minutes. The staff was also one of the most accommodating we have ever... vad folk säger » had. She was extremely helpful in suggesting places for day trips and how to get to and from anywhere we went. She always offered to make any travel - Beautiful hotel, very clean and well looked after. Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full. Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs. Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value. Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities. Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.   The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see - The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

Only 9 apartments so the pool is not crowded, it's more like private pool ;) Wonderful owner who is technical and relaxed at the same time so the holiday was stress free. We are defenately coming back next year. - Our stay was very good, the owner was the most friendly and client-oriented person we met during our 2weeks trip to Greece.   We have just spent fabulous days in Chania to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The Sun City Hotel was a great choice: clean, comfortable, near beautiful beaches, only 10 minutes from the city center (by car), 2 supermarkets in the same road.   The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a quick chat with them everyday. The rooms used to be cleaned every day. It was extremely important for us - people with little children. We like this place because it is close to old town and to the center and at the same time Magia Apts are quiet and peacefull.   Localization has only advantages. Building is on a quiet street (but close to main road, what makes easy to get to the hotel), beach is very close (about 200m) and supermarket is 5 minutes walk. A little bit more then 2 km is to Chania centre - you can take a bus, but it is a very nice walk (we were in Chania almost every day and we have never use... vad folk säger » d a bus). Conditions of accommodation in Ilona Apartments were very good, room was clean and well equipped, with large balcony and clean bathroom. Roo - Best stuff we have ever seen! From the very first moment and during the whole week we haven´t seen so so nice stuff! Very helpful, kind and always smiling. Super! The room was nice. We stayed in 1st floor and it had really nice outside terrace. Air conditioner was included in price but we actually even didn´t need it, because there was very good system to keep windows opened and same time keep your safety of the room.   VERY romantic rooms! Atmosphere in the rooms were definitely made with love and you can feel it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are ready to fulfill all you wishes to make you happy. And also very open and ready to talk or give advise about Crete. The whole impression left the best memories after the trip.
