  We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Das Tergernsee and had a wonderful time. The entire reservation was handled professionally and efficiently and we were delighted with the room, menu and decor. The hotel is beautiful, with the most fantastic view of the lake.   I made a simple request to have a small refrigerator and we found ourselves in the room I had chosen online. Not only was my request honored but there was a beautiful kitchenette, fully stocked to cook, a living room and 2 lovely bedrooms.   nice atmosphere - The worst hotel I ever stayed in. The room had only a small window, was narrow and very dark, no a/c, hefty feather bed in the summer, expensive - they did not even ask if we enjoyed our stay when we checked out.
