  The location is right in the center of the walled city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You could feel that it was in an 800 year old house but only by its character and charm. I would recommend this place to all. Parking was nearby for 5euro for all day & night. The information center in the Marketplatz was about a 2min walk away. It was OUTSTANDING! - A very charming traditional guesthouse in a 800 y.o. building with nice, clean, cozy and spacious rooms with reinnovated bathroom. The location is ideal for exploring the old town. Free, super-fast and reliable WiFi available. The pub downstairs is a very good option; it stays open until 11 and has some great plates and beers (plus it doesn't disturb upstairs).

  So sweet! Awesome and unique! Like walking thru a museum, comfortable and luxurious. Centrally located. Rothenberg odT is a must see. Plenty to do, walking is a must! - The location of hotel was amazing. It was right in the center of town and right next to the Christmas Store!

The location was great, right on the corner of the marktplatz and was a great central location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful family owned/run Gasthof. I would stay again if I was visiting this wonderful town.

  The hotel has a convenient location- 2 blocks from the entrance of the old town of Rothenburg. We could walk there from the hotel. Rooms were clean and sufficient for our use. There is also a nice restaurant and breakfast is included. - Close to the city - convenient walk. Excellent food.

  The room was so spacious and clean, such a great location and cheery atmosphere. I was staying in many hotels in Europe and this is the one I wanted to continue staying in if I could have!   This was the best hotel on our entire trip. The staff was extremelyefficient, polite, and helpful. They responded inmmediately to ourrequests. We would defintiely stay again if we ever have the opportunityto return to Rothenburg (which we hope we can do). The location is great- quiet, but very close to the main square.   This Inn was recommended by another famous travel guide and it did not disappoint. It is on an out of the way narrow street and it looks like the nearly 600 year old building it is. Inside, taking in the decor is like drinking from a firehose, it is overwhelmingly beautiful, charming, cute, ....you name the adjective. Mario, the owner, was attentive and - The hotel was ideally placed, very close to the Christmas market and not too difficult to find. The room was spacious, very clean and warm with the added bonus of free Wifi. We ate in the small , atmospheric restaurant and had a great meal with lovely wine and good German beer! Breakfast was very good and I would definately stay here again. If you are visiting the Christmas Market, please bear in mind that all the stalls close by 9pm so do your shopping first and then find somewhere to eat or

  We had a great stay! My husband, myself and our two year-old arrived on a Friday evening and stayed until Sunday. The double room was a wonderful size, especially for a European hotel. We had our daughter sleep in the couch, which could easily fit a smaller adult. (Not sure about the comfort of it.) Our bed was great. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was good, nothin - We had a room for 4 (2 couples) for one night. Pension rooms are above a bakery but there is a separate entrance at side of building so it is not necessary to walk through the business. Room size was good, beds clean and comfortable. A great rate for the room at his location in the Alstadt. Breakfast was included.
