  The location is right in the center of the walled city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You could feel that it was in an 800 year old house but only by its character and charm. I would recommend this place to all. Parking was nearby for 5euro for all day & night. The information center in the Marketplatz was about a 2min walk away. The pub downstairs is a very good option; it stays open until 11 and has some great plates and beers (plus it doesn't disturb upstairs).

  The owner was very nice when my wife realized we were on the 3rd floor and she has trouble with stairs especially after a long vacation. The owner tried to accommodate on the 2nd floor but in the end we chose the original room.   The hotel has a convenient location- 2 blocks from the entrance of the old town of Rothenburg. We could walk there from the hotel. Rooms were clean and sufficient for our use. There is also a nice restaurant and breakfast is included. - Close to the city - convenient walk. Excellent food.

  We had a great stay! My husband, myself and our two year-old arrived on a Friday evening and stayed until Sunday. The double room was a wonderful size, especially for a European hotel. We had our daughter sleep in the couch, which could easily fit a smaller adult. (Not sure about the comfort of it.) Our bed was great. A great rate for the room at his location in the Alstadt. Breakfast was included.
