A cosy not expensive hotel near the airport. It is very convenient to stay there before your flight.
A manager was so kind that met us at the U-station and brought to the hotel.
He also provided transportation to the airport.

This was a very nice "Hotel Garni" on the outskirts of Essen. It was surrounded by nice countryside, an equestrian center, tennis courts, and a nearby river. The apartment's management office was very easy to find just steps from the main train station and the staff there was very friendly. The apartment itself is very spacious and on the ground floor so we didn't have to lug our bags up flights of stairs.
