  Service was phenomenal. Were escorted to our room by the young woman who help us at the desk; showed us how everything worked in the room. Restaurant was excellent with nice bar adjacent. Live music, yet you could still have a conversation.   eftersom som jag var på mässan så var det perfekt - I have to say that the Hessischer Hof is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially the head waiter who accommodated us for dinner despite us not having a reservation, The room and public areas are furnished with real taste and style.   Absolutely wonderful setting and the hotel is beautiful. The meal we had was one of the best I have had in Germany. So good we took friends back a week later. A wonderful experience. - Nice old rooms (castle is build 1904) , good service and breakfast, wonderful view on the werra river.

  The pictures and description of this hotel don't do it justice. It is a quaint boutique hotel right by the river with a beer garden and spacious rooms. The staff was very friendly and even helped with the luggage. It is super close to the river where you can watch the pleasure boats and barges on the water. There are 2 excellent restaurants along - The hotel is located in the old historic part of Floersheim. Within walking distance are the Main river, several restaurants, a shopping center and the train station. The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was huge, elegantly furnished and very clean. We really loved that the entire hotel is decorated with pictures of movie stars and movie memorabilia.
