When I remembered later in the evening I called and the lady at the reception was kind enough to locate my phone through house keeping.   Outstanding service; our wish was their command...truly magic! We are already planning to return. The concierge provided a wonderful babysitter and made excellent restaurant reservations. The Estee Lauder spa and rooftop hot spring pool are very nice. - swimming pool

  A nice touch in the heat of the summer was that none alcoholic drinks were provided free of charge in the mini-bar. - Staff was very helpfull and the hotel was a grand old world castle !!!! Very good value for the price.

  We liked the castle and the view was amazing from the restaurant at night. It was a very clean and up to date room. Very beautiful. I liked the spa and sauna. It was nice to see the museum/prison before it closed. We had one waitress that spoke English and she was very good. - What a super location, in the hills overlooking the Eder Dam.   eftersom som jag var på mässan så var det perfekt - I have to say that the Hessischer Hof is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. All the staff are friendly and helpful especially the head waiter who accommodated us for dinner despite us not having a reservation, The room and public areas are furnished with real taste and style.
