  It's great to go on holiday and have your own apartment. It was really comfortable. We had a huge sofa and a plasma screen. It is really close to the city centre and the shopping streets. It has several restaurants nearby (one is at the ground floor of the hotel) and a pub next door. People at the reception desk are really nice and helpful, though... vad folk säger » sometimes they don't really know what you're asking for because they're not much into excursions, train timetables, etc. However, they helped us as m - It was an excellent location just off the main shopping street in Munich. We were two underground stops from the main railway station and in walking distance of many of the attractions. The staff were friendly and the rooms were large, with a separate kitchen and bathroom. We slept three people comfortably. Self laundry facilities were available. The reception and other staff were very friendly and helpful.

  This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. Also, it is only a 3-5 minute walk to Marienplatz (which is another good location). We a... vad folk säger » lso enjoy the breakfasts at this hotel, with a nice choice of meats, cheese, and breads. - The location is fabulous. You can walk to everything -- and we did! Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

  I am extremely positively impressed by the behavior of the entire staff who checked me in and checked me out of the hotel. Furthermore, the Hotel General Manager Mr. Kayhan Kilit handling with my requests and complaint was extremely impressive and more than satifactory. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the spirit if the hotel facilities and friendly... vad folk säger » customers-centric attitude. That is why, my next Munich visit will be to this Location. I highly recommend this Hotel not just for its close proxim - The hotel is very new, and has very nice installations. The staff is very friendly. There is a great garden with a "sandbox" and toys for the kids. Very near to OstbahnHof from where you can reach every place in the city with public transport. Convenience and restaurants nearby. Very family friendly. Washing/dry machines in the basement for 4 Euro each program.

  We were traveling by train so having the main train station 10 minute walk away from the hotel was convenient. Also 10 to 15 minute walk to city center. Staff very helpful. - Excellent value for the money. Excellent location.
