  Arrived during busy evening service at the restaurant. Staff introduced themselves and showed us to our room offering to help with luggage. We staying in room 12 facing the river and main town square. The room was clean and tidy with lovely high ceilings and a good sized bathroom. Everything worked as needed.   This hotel was excellent, perhaps from a bygone era when Val les Bains was an active spa town. It respesented very good value for money and the staff were very friendly and attentive. - Friendly man helped us with our bags and the hotel was well placed to access the town
