It was well-located but quiet. The beds & pillows were exceptionally
comfortable and we slept well. The staff were friendly and we were able
to leave our luggage in the office whilst we spent rest of day out and
about, even though we stayed only one night. Because we found breakfast

I, rather stupidly, had booked the wrong date, however, this was not a problem for the hotel and they accommodated us in another room, with no fuss whatsoever. Very user friendly.

Picked this hotel after looking at a few in the area and we were not
disappointed. We received a very warm welcome, the room was clean
and comfortable, dinner in the evening was typically old style
French cuisine, delicious, and they have just about the best
breakfast I have ever seen, anywhere, certainly in Europe, a

This hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Saint Valery, and for exploring the lower Somme area. The staff were helpful & friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and with the basic facilities to make hot drinks etc. For breakfast, there was a good selection of buffet items. My wife and I enjoyed staying at the hotel, and would choose to again.

We loved everything about the hotel! It has such a calm, peaceful atmosphere, with immaculate beautifully decorated rooms, quiet situation, comfortable bed and locally sourced food-lovely breakfasts. St Valery is a beautiful medieval town and close to walks with views over the Bay of the Somme, cyling, and steam train rides. Can't wait to return!

La Femme d'à Côté is nice modern and ideally located in the old city. Our room had a lovely walk in shower. large bed. Breakfast is taken across the road in Au Vélocipède which was also very good. we were made to feel welcome and enjoyed our stay.
Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, was quiet when we went October 2013. but that suited us. it is a nice place to walk round.

This is a hidden gem in St Vallery. As well as being a lovely place to stay with very nice hosts and a good breakfast taken overlooking the estuary it also had the luxury of tea and coffee making faculties which are not usually found in French rooms. I wish We could have stayed longer. -

the space and access - we booked a large cabin for 2 adults because we wanted to visit St Valery for the medieval festival, and this was the closest place we could find. The staff were excellent, very friendly and committed.

The setting of Le Walric is second to none. Beautiful countryside on the doorstep, an historic and picturesque village within walking distance with delightful restaurants and close to supermarkets. A lovely campsite with friendly and helpful staff. Exceptionally helpful when our car broke down.

Excellent location - very convenient for the lovely little town of St Valery Sur Somme.
Apartment has everything needed for a weekend break. As we had the smallest apartment, I would think 3 or 4 days here would be sufficient. I didn't see the other apartments which I understand are bigger and might be more appropriate for a longer stay.

This was so much nicer than a hotel. The apartment is well equipped, especially the kitchen, and it was lovely to be able to go straight out into the garden. It is a very easy place to stay with a dog. The town is perfect, a combination of great places to eat and shop, with gorgeous countryside all around. The steam railway is a great way to get to the coast, very enjoyable.
