We just wanted a one night stop on route to Calais & chose well. The
hotel was closed when we arrived at 4.40 & on the door was a notice,
open at 5, after a long journey we were not very happy. But I rang the
intercom & somebody came straight away & the reception girl

We stayed one night en route from Italy to UK. It was convenient as only 3 hours from Channel Tunnel. The gentleman on reception was excellent - extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms are clean but a little bit basic although perfectly adequate for a one night stay. We will certainly use this hotel next year when we will be making a similar trip again.

Arrived after a long journey very tired and hungry, hotel was just what we needed! Unfortunately it was a Sunday so most restaurants were closed but the owner pointed us in the direction of a couple that were open. This quaint charming little hotel is just off the main square near all the bars and restaurants. Our room was delightful and can only be described as unique with all the little personal touches. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choices of pastries and cake, mostly home made.
We parked within 5 mins walk but moved the car closer after 7pm for convenience of loading the following morning.
