  Staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meal was 'par excellence', especially 'les legumes' served in a puff pastry 'cup' Breakfast was equally as good with a wide range of choice - Lovely family run hotel with excellent customer service.   The rooms are clean and comfortable and look to have been recently refurbished. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The restaurant is plain and the food good. The hotel is situated in the middle of the most beautiful countryside and is only 16 minutes drive from Claude Monet's house and garden. There are a couple of lovely little towns ne... vad folk säger » arby. - The large, green space around the low-rise buildings with a large parking; all very well kept. Welcoming staff, good-value restaurant. It felt more American than a typical French 2-star hotel !

  My friend and I had a comfortable, roomy and clean triple room with private bathroom, quiet at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast with plenty of choice including fresh fruit and scrambled egg and French type bacon. The bedroom and bathroom were was lighter and brighter than shown in the photos with clean white towel... vad folk säger » s each day in the bathroom. Only about a 10 minute walk to the station for the shuttle bus to Giverny for Monet's garden and a good bar for an evening - Vernon is very close to Giverny (4 kilometers) which is why we chose this hotel. It was quite reasonable for 2 nights at 176 Euro. Basic hotel rooms....no frills but fine and clean. Restaurant good and lounge for drinks for tea very comfortable with leather overstuffed chairs. Staff very helpful. Walking to the village, church, museum and restaurants within minutes. Sweet village.
