  We loved this hotel. The patrons were charming and helpful. Room very comfortable, good shower. Excellent breakfast in very pretty stone cellar dining room. Old St Malo on our doorstep. It was also within easy walking distance of the town, with many restaurants and bars. The room was nicely decorated and furnished and very clean.   Very pleasant welcome from receptionist. It has 24 hr reception. We could park immediately outside or anywhere on the road without paying and apparently it is a non-problem area, so felt safe to leave belongings in the car.   We had a family room/junior suite which meant two rooms with adjoining door open. Excellent solution, absolutely brilliant. Location good, hotel clean, and staff arranged for us to have an early breakfast to accomodate a day trip to Jersey. The front desk clerks were very helpful, especially Ruth. We has a superior room which was spacious with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, mets, cheese, bread, cereal. The hotel is brand new and appears on google maps as the empty lot it once was. It was about a 20 minute walk to the city walls.

  The hotel was so delightful that we stayed an additional night - relaxing atmosphere and very comfortable, well located away from the tourist crowds, but near enough to get to the centre on foot. Some good restaurants even closer (recommend L' Atre).

The kitchen area is quite basic but was adequate and we had breakfast and cooked a couple of meals. The complex in general was very secure.
