The location was perfect......across the road from a lovely park. We ate dinner in the cafe in the park and the kids ran off their excess energy in the playground. The room was more like a small wing of the house. The beds were very comfy and the shared lounge area was gorgeous. We can't recommend this place enough.....much nicer than a soul-less hotel room!. Lovely old building; great views of the lake; comfy bed; dog friendly. Also, we found the super Italian restaurant in the village that others have also mentioned!! The chef is a great guy who was happy to feed us at 10pm on a Sunday!!.
