  Owner was very accommodating, friendly and made sure that Le Commanderie was well appointed with amenities, comfortable beds, WiFi, TV and stylish furnishings. Loved the room and bathroom layout. Spacious with a mix of modern and baroque. Breakfast was amazing with Nespresso coffee, eggs and homemade pistachio muffins and jams. French bread of... vad folk säger » course! Location was very central in St Emilion and parking was beside the B&B. Would stay here again and recommend it! - We loved every moment of our stay at the Maison de la Commanderie in St. Emilion. Our host, Laurent, was wonderful. He provided a wonderful home cooked breakfast served family style. He called a cab service to bring us to the train. He definitely paid attention to every detail about his establishment. The room was spacious and state of the art (iPod speaker system, flat screen TV, fabulous shower with spray jets) with magnificent views of the town and countryside.

  The reason why we first selected this hotel was because it was an old house directly in Saint-Émilion and it is literally at the entrance of the small medieval town with direct access to all the restaurants and shops. At first we thought that the dimensions on the room listed as 60 square meters was wrong but it was not: the room is actually this ... vad folk säger » big and includes a very large bathroom, a small kitchen and dining area, a sofa and large comfy chair and of course a very comfortable bed. The owner - Delightfully furnished studio accomodation which suited us perfectly. The added kitchen facilities enabled us to enjoy our own breakfasts and on one of the 4 nights that we stayed we were able to prepare a meal to eat "at home". Natasha and her staff kept the accomodation spotless and the suggestions for places to eat out were excellent. &Quot;Great boulangerie across the road and a small supermarket also in the town.

  Our short stay at this hotel was perfect. Located at a very short distance from the town of St Emilion itself (practical to have a car), it is set in the middle of vineyards and is itself a classified building. We were received by the excellent manager of the facilities, Natacha, who took the time to serve us some of the house's wine and to chit-c... vad folk säger » hat with us (in French). The rooms themselves are excellent, beautiful, clean, each one individually decorated, and with excellent facilities (cupboar - We spent 2 nights in this chateau and were very happy with everything: the room was beautifully decorated and very clean with the big bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Natasha gave us excellent dinner recommendations, some of which came with the complementary glasses of wine. Loved our stay!

  This is quaint B&B tuucked away in the countryisde and Veronique was the perfect host. It's close enough to the town to bike or walk, but far enough away to relax in the peaceful vineyard atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and there are other amenities (e.g., clothes washing, dinner, bicycles) if you so choose. Close proximity to Saint Emilion (40 mins. walking).We so enjoyed our first 2 nights we booked a 3rd night on our return. Nothing was too much trouble for Veronique and her husband (Chef) just a perfect place to stay.
