  The staff and the facilities were excellent. The gourmet dinner was quit expensive but was incredible as were the superb breakfasts. If you wanted to eat elsewhere the staff were happy to advise and book. - Nice quiet rural village setting with a lovely terrace for watching the world go by.   Host/hostess very gracious and helpful. Accommodations were fabulous. Very nicely decorated. Very spacious. The surrounding grounds were magnificent between the grape vines and mountains. It is very romantic. The breakfast was all homemade. Every one was very friendly and helpful. - Located in a grand old house amongst the vineyards.   Location was lovely and ideally positioned for wine tasting in Burgundy and Beaujolais. There is even a cellar opposite the hotel which supplies a very good St Veran (Jean Curial et Fils), at a reasonable price. Good swimming pool and towels provided. Rooms were very comfortable. Set in the real French countryside but with ready access to the Autoroute. The hotel had clearly had a great deal of money spent on it and the staff were very helpful and attentive.
