  Love the Alsace and all the really cute villages that appear to have stopped in time. Colorful, half-timbered medieval houses often with stork nests on top! Lots to do in the region and this hotel is well- located above Ribeauville and its scenic center. Also close to some nice hiking in the area and biking from village to village. We were upgrad - This was our second trip to Clos St Vincent, and we returned because of the great time we had in July. It was actually a spur of the moment decision, due to an open weekend, and no plans. As it turned out, it was a great time to go, and we were fortunate there was a room, as it was the weekend of the Medieval Festival, and we got the only room left, a comfortable family room. We again brought our dogs, and enjoyed walking through the vinyards, now laden with bunches of nearly ripe grapes. Em

  Extremely friendly working people at all levels. Very helpful. Good food and excellent breakfast buffet. Dog friendly. Overall a lovely experience and looking forward to return for a stay in near future. - The modern design of the room, free internet, and the facilities.

  We stayed at Gite Meyer-Liss because it is in a beautiful area, at the right price, and on our way through France to the ferry terminal at Calais. The atmospheric old house was converted 20 years ago to accommodate paying visitors and has not suffered as a result. The streets are pedestrianised and therefore quiet and with accc - Very friendly and helpful lady. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable large bed. bathroom was basic, but clean. Exceptional value for money. Stunning little town, an absolute gem . We will return.
