  Everything--the staff is exceptionally welcoming, the atmosphere warm and hospitable, the facilities couldn't be better, and the food and wine truly exceptional.   too much to type! fantastic room I stayed in a classic suite which is the biggest room I've ever stayed in for 2 people, huge bed, enormous lounge, fantastic bathroom etc etc. spa and pool area fantastic, staff attentive and very polite, bar area so comfy with huge fire and again great staff, highly recommend

  Perfect location inside Val Thorens skiing resort, one of the highest one in Europe. Very good hospitality service from the reception staff. Good food (3 restaurants & bar + outdoor). Well-equipped gym, nice SPA incl. small swimming pool (partially outdoor). Interesting design. Loved being able to ski out the door, and the shuttle service was also convenient. Classic rooms wre still very comfortable and had lovely views!

  Just stayed one night here, as a stopover on the way to Italy, and glad we chose here, instead of a motorway hotel. It's only a mile or two from the motorway, but is very secluded and next to a gorgeous lake and mountains. The room was quite basic, but all we needed. The food in the hotel was fantastic. The restaurant overlooks the lake, and the food is superb. Also, when we did not understand something on the menu, the chef took us into the kitchens to show us, demonstrating his pride in his food, and his confidence in the cleanliness of the kitchen; both justified.
