The hotel is situated in a great spot within Amiens - easy walking distance to some superb restaurants all recommended to us by the owner Estelle. Talking of Estelle, she is a lovely lady who is very eager to please and help in anyway. Breakfast was lovely, more than you can eat and the room was superb with a fantastic bathroom. The staff was delightful(Front desk Charlene and our concierge), the rooms very comfortable and luxurious and the inside spa/pool area lovely. The gastronomic restaurant isexcellent. The chef is very creative and does complex dishes as well as simple dishes beautifully. Best lamb we've had in France in the past 8 years. -

It was in a very convenient place for accessing the ferry at Calais the next day.
It was in a very close to the motorway.
The availability of facilities for preparing our own meal in the evening was ideal as there is nowhere nearby to eat and we are both vegetarian and I am coeliac so eating out in France is very difficult anyway. -

A very peaceful, countryside location. The small castle is pretty and our family room in the annexe was very large and modern. The swimming pool and table tennis were an added bonus as was the communal lounge/diner. The owners were very friendly and the atmosphere so relaxed. We would love to return and stay in one of the beautiful rooms in the castle.

Very nice farm house and host went out of his way to help us, lent us 2 pedal cycles to go to restaurant for evening meal, also let us park our motorcycles in the garage where the farm machines are stored , so nice and dry.

All staff delightful and helpful. Loved the setting and the fact that all the rooms faced the lake. We asked for a quiet room and we got one. Very comfortable room which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spacious. It was good to have a balcony as well. Free parking. This is the second time we were there and we enjoyed our stay again. Staff is very friendly, the restaurant and breakfast very good. And the location; wonderful! The lake gives tranquility even in high season. We even saw a beaverfamily close to the terras.....

Excellent, helpful staff. The location is very central, being ideally
placed to enable one to leave the car in the car park. With Paris just
over an hour away by train it was ideal. The room was lovely and the bed
extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the free newspapers and magazines and
the minibar (free) was refilled with soft drinks every morning. For four
nights it was very much 'home from home' and I expect that we
shall return.

Ideal location for exploring the Somme battlefield. Good, clean
comfortable rooms with great showers. Stayed for 2 nights, had breakfast
both mornings set us up for the day really well. Restaurant menu was
pretty good value for money compared to other places we ate out at.
Friendly, helpful staff who looked after us well. Recommended if you are
looking for a base from which to explore the area.
