  We only stayed one night so didn't really get to see much of Pornic.. The hotel is beautiful. Wonderful well kept gardens out the front. We had a 1st floor room with small balcony overlooking these gardens and also with a view of the sea. Only a short stroll down to the sandy beach below the cliffs. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had... vad folk säger » a super meal. We also took breakfast and there was a great selection of bread/cakes and other .goodies. - The staff at the Auberge are extremely helpful and went out of their way to arrange a taxi for me late at night. The inn with roses growing all over and farm animals in pastures out back and the ocean in the distance was very relaxing and beautiful (note: it was a bit far to walk to town). Bikes, walking paths, spectacular gardens. Eco-friendly with delicious, organic foods mostly produced on site.

  We stayed one night in Nantes and found the hotel excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as we speak only a little French they helped with the taxi in the morning and where to go for a meal. The room we had was very spacious and lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is about a 15 minute stroll in to the city centre - straig... vad folk säger » ht along the main road, very easy to find the Chateau and Cathedral and a place for dinner. We loved our stay, great hotel, great city. - Clean and modern room, spacious, comfortable bed. Appreciated the air-conditioning as it was a very hot day. Good location, 10mins walk away from the city. A few good restaurants and a supermarket around the area. Good wifi. Didn't try the breakfast as it was not included and would cost 14euro per person, apparently it's a "bio" breakfast.
