Our room was wonderfully furnished and decorated in an antique style that 'themed' with the royal city of Loches. Tired from travelling we lounged in the sunshine in the little garden. It was very peaceful and quiet and great taste everywhere.

  An outstanding choice for a bed and breakfast location in Amboise in the Loire Valley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight.   The women conscierges were wonderful, allowing us to relax in France andpractice our flawed French. We were able to picnic poolside after hours,just relax in a beautiful house. We had many requests for extra towels,ashtray for cigars, directions, etc, and each was met with a smile. Wewould love to return. Ambroise is a lovely town and is a great place to stay and take day trips to the area's many chateaux, and the chateaux at Amboise itself is lovely. If I were to go back again, I'd want to stay again at Le Manois Saint Thomas. I recommend it highly!

  We loved the ambience and the tranquility, this is not a cheap hotel, but it was special. The staff were very attentive, the dinner was fantastic. The food was well prepared and the quality was excellent. The grounds and the gardens were perfect for a stroll in beautiful countryside. - Very relaxed feel together with excellent service.   We were here for two nights with our two young children in an adjoining suite of rooms (Margaux et Jules). With a satnav we found the place without any trouble (though I wouldn't have wanted to be without it!) and were impressed on our arrival with the attractiveness of the setting, the chateau itself and our rooms. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops.
