  For a two star hotel this was much better than we expected. The owner was friendly and spoke very good English. The facilities were basic, blanket on bed instead of duvet, but very clean. TV, shower, hair dryer, and most important private parking. My advice is to pay the extra for breakfast, you won't be disappointed, it was better than one we had... vad folk säger » in a much more expensive hotel in France. - We took advice from this website and did not book a hotel in the town due to parking problems. This hotel is just across the river - a five minute walk to the town centre and with a great view of the castle on the way. The staff were welcoming and friendly. There is a lift up to the chateau from the town - the site is well worth a visit.

  The hotel is modern, well furnished and clean. The concierge is really nice and speaks really good English (which in France is a really big one!). He was also pretty helpful and froze our cooling packs for us and everything. The room was perfect for two persons and the bath was big, bright and clean. Free parking in front of the hotel. We spend one more night there than originally planned and after seeing another hotel on the night after in the same price range I can say: wo - As always this hotel provided exactly what was required for an overnight between England and the South West of France. Friendly reception, clean comfortable rooms and breakfast. The restaurant over the road where evening meals are available is under new management.

  This hotel is in need of some refreshment but is clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We had booked for one night but stayed for two.   The hotel is older but recently renovated and the facilities were very good. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. While the hotel is a little way from the city centre, it is only about a 10 minute walk away. There are some small restaurants close by but you need to explore a bit to find them.   It was great, our car rental agency didnt have anoymore gpd and we were able to find the hotel with out a problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful.   The room was quirky, the dinner was very nice as was breakfast. It was a good location for the chateau. Secure parking was available although a little walk from the hotel - small lovely hotel with quaint rooms and a nice restaurant; location is very good - just one or two minutes' walk to the chateau; hotel staff professional and helpful.

  Couple who owned it were very very friendly and helpful. I felt so welcomed. Very clean - I was in a room with a shared toilet (it must have been cleaned hourly!). Mini fridge in room is such a bonus especially as there is a grocery store across the street. Great location! - Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and GREAT coffee!
