This was one of the best places we have stayed at; beautiful village,
nice people, nice old house. There was no feeling of cheapness with
anything; from the towels, the bed, the shower heads(yes, 2 of them) to
the lovely free coffee and tea, automatic blinds, free wifi and modern
streaming music players.
In local restaurant Brigandville we were surprised by the nice modern surroundings, but more so by the great food; lovely fresh tasting, good use of spices and even vegetarian if you want.

L'Oree is a beautiful, modern b'n'b located in the countryside just outside Giverny. It is a 2 minute drive to Monet sites and 5 minutes to Vernon. M and M Werth are the owners; very accommodating. L'Oree de Giverny was a lovely B&B minutes from Monet's gardens in Giverny. Located by fast flowing river, we enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The village of Giverny can be very crowded during the day. We had a large bedroom and bath, with all the comforts of home. Our hosts the Werth's were very helpful and gave us good advice as to visiting the area and fixed a decious breakfast that featued local food. Visiting gardens was very special and our stay at L'Oree de Givery equally special!

The night porter (Samuel) was particularly helpful, on our arrival at 11pm he very kindly gave us advice on where to eat and what to visit during our stay. Although we didn't initially book the breakfast we did have it during our stay as it was fabulous. All in all a great hotel and we would highly recommend. -

The hotel was an excellent value to stay so close to Paris without being "in" the city. A car is best to get to the closest train station to get into the city, but it was an easy ride. The 2 BR apartment we stayed in was nice with a separate kitchen and the facilities we're clean and well kept. Most importantly, the owners we're extremely friendly and helpful. We bought breakfast each morning and it was excellent and provided in a timely and friendly way. We had a wonderful stay with our 3

The house was simply adorable, very close to the airport, and in a cute little town with easy walking to great little restaurants and then could catch the train into Paris. The owners were lovely, very gracious, accommodating, and helpful and maintain a very clean, tidy, beautiful home. Loved being able to buy food at the local grocery and prep our own meals for dinner. Overall, absolutely loved the place and thought it was a tremendous find and value and would certainly stay there again.
