Perfect if you seek to escape from crowds. It was great value for money. (especially if compared with Chamonix and Argentieres). The cable car just oposite the hotel takes you to 1900 meters perfect for the untrained walkers, and perfect for those who seek easy panoramic walks with great views on the mont blanc range. Nice indoor pool. English speaking staff. A 10 min walk along the river takes you to the nearby farm/restaurant allowing you to leave the car parked all day.

Although not within walking distance to Chamonix the hotel is in its own unique position across from the Bossons Glacier so provides amazing views of that and Mt Blanc and the other mountains. The owners were very friendly and provided extensive explanations. This small hotel is totally charming. One of the owners is an interior designer for chalets, and this place could certainly be called a model. There is so much attention to detail, that one always discovers something new to look at.
