  A very helpful and friendly host assisted by two helpful four legged friends, Pluto the St Bernard and his sidekick Louis. We took our mini wire and he was treated as a part of the family and got on really well with Pluto. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and equipped with Suzettes antiques making the stay feel opulent and tasteful. The lovely and plentiful breakfast wa - We had a relaxing two night stay at Petit Manoir Meysset in November. Our host, Suzette, spoke French and our home language (Aussie) which meant we had plenty to discuss. We received an upgrade to a beautiful, big room that was very well appointed. Breakfast, which costs extra but is well worth the €7 each, was delicious and filling. The Dordogne region is amazing! It requires a much longer visit than we could manage. See area highlights below.   The room size was great- a seperate living to bedroom area and balcony was appreciated. The €3 breakfast option was perfect. Everything was easy and enjoyable. - Excellent value for money, very clean and modern apartments, good location , close to the town

  Made to feel that you are welcome and not just another guest by Ed and Ineke from the moment that you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment which was far bigger than we expected. Bedroom large, kitchen enough facilities to be self catering if you wished. We were offered the option to eat with Ed and Ineke ... vad folk säger » for evening meal but did not sample. Awoke in the morning to a view of the horses in the fields and birds singing. Chickens visited us every morning - The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. Also very relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Dinner each night was fantastic and good value.   My husband and I have just returned from 5 days/4 nights at Le Clos Lascazes and it was truly wonderful. The property, the setting, the surroundings, the location, the owners, the rooms, the facilities and the breakfast were all perfect. We went to all of the places that she recommended and tried each of the restaurants and she - Beautiful location in a quite countryside village. Very peaceful & tranquil setting yet close enough to easily reach popular tourist places in the area. Rooms were very tastefully furnished & extremely comfortable. Our hosts were superb, very friendly & helpful. Lovely breakfasts with homemade cakes & jams served every morning. Couldn't fault our stay. Hope to return.   Liked everything about this place. We were touring France for 3 weeks and this was the best! Michelle and Patrick were fantastic and happy to give you the time and talk to you, showing us where to go etc. Our son and his girlfriend had originally booked in across the road but Michelle organised for them to stay in the extra room in the house, s... vad folk säger » o could be with us. Our room was in the 'chalet' at the bottom of the garden with it's own veranda, table and chairs. We were only 5 min walk from t - Comfortable room in your own little garden oasis. Even though it's extremely close to the city centre, you never feel that way as it's like a little haven away from the bustle of crowds and noise. Very accommodating and sweet hosts who were patient with my atrocious French and always ready to help. Considering the dismal breakfast choices in Sarlat, I was very thankful I opted for the breakfast every morning. It not only tied me over for lunch but on several days replaced my lunch! Would happil
