  Warm welcome. We really enjoyed the wine tasting, having looked round the cellars. We also liked the way they sit you in mixed groups at the dinner table (we sat with Polish, French, Japanese and Dutch couples) and shared many bottles of the family-produced wine!! Good food. Room was clean and comfortable but rustic as opposed to modern. - The Domain is only a few kilometres from Auxerre but you are in the rural environment of the countryside. The Domain is steeped in history and visit the cave for degustation is a must. The Domain Borgnat is not a five star hotel but gives a great experience to visitors wanting to see the real France and enjoy the company of fellow travellers. Regine is a wonderful host and Orlin prepares some of the best food we have had in France.

  Great location in central Dijon, just of the main pedestrian shopping street and only about 10 mins walk from Dijon Ville train station. Kitchen facilities were basic but had enough equipment to put together meals. Large, spacious room with a couch which was a nice treat. - Staff were incredibly accommodating , friendly and helpful.   A fantastic nights stay on our way south. So glad we chose this property rather than a nearby hotel. We were made to feel extremely welcome from the minute we arrived and the owners spoke perfect English.   The staff were incredibly helpful. We arrived late (after the reception had closed) and I aws cocncerned we would not have a room. However a key had been left for us with clear instructions etc. - Modern, clean building and grounds. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.

  We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded as noone was booked into the more expensive room. It was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and equipped. Virginie's parents joined the table for dinner one night and so we were able to practice our french as well as hear about the area from locals.

  This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Europe. The owners were fantastic and helped us out when we had questions about the area. Very friendly people! The breakfast in the morning was outstanding with fresh breads and fruit. The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The wine cellar was a very nice touch and had over 150 wines available... vad folk säger » to purchase and drink. This was a great place to explore Dijon and the Burgundy wine regions. We will be making a return trip in the future. - What a pleasant surprise. We booked the Am de la Terre purely for it's location just outside of Dijon and not far off the motorway. Turns out it was up there with the best accommodation we stayed in for our Europe trip. We were greeted apon our arrival by our host Simone as we arrived in our car. Parking was easy just out the front. Our room was immaculate and beautifully presented. Breakfast was superb, I had the best French toast I've ever had!

  Everything about our suite was perfect - it was the most comfortable, large bed of our entire trip and the shower and bath were both amazing. We also dined at the restaurant downstairs on the place which had beautiful scenery as well as amazing food. Staff was outstanding from the chef/owner, his wife and the waiters. Food in both the B9 Bistro and gastronomic restaurant was fabulous. An experience we will never forget at a very affordable price.
