  Absolutely beautiful and tranquil setting. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food excellent, and the wines are wonderful. Truly a gem, not to be missed! - Everyone was so friendly and helpful for anything we needed. The breakfast and dinners were wonderful. The wine was great. We will go back.

  A wonderful stylish hotel, peaceful and beautifully French, which is why we chose it. Lovely Decor, comfortable beds and an enormous sitting room shared with friends. Ideally placed for exploring Carcassonne Cite, the canal du Midi and shopping in the town centre. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh croissant and baguette, butter, jams, cereals, fresh fruit salad - The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Although this accommodation is on a busy road, we found that we were unaware

  I don't want to start writing because I won't stop! So much care and attention to detail has gone into the Dochavert; you see it everywhere you look. Gwendoline and Philipe are fastidious and generous; welcoming and discerning; thoughtful and kind. I felt a part of their home. Breakfast was a marvel, worthy of any 5* hotel and the highlight - We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants. This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.   Very friendly and attentive owners who made sure that we had all that we needed for our one night stay. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful. - Great service, nice large rooms, comfortable bed and perfect location to discover the region, loved the breakfast. We will be back!

  We had the benefit of the ground floor room which has a door into the small courtyard garden which was perfect for a quiet glass of wine after a heavy day sightseeing.   From the welcoming smile from Myriam on our arrival to the last spoonful of home made jams at breakfast on the morning of our departure, our stay can only be described as wonderful. The accommodation has only recently been renovated and our room, no 3, although relatively small, was decorated beautifully. It is situated about a 10 minute walk to La Cite and 5 minutes from the B - This small private guest house was very comfortable and well placed a short stroll from the main attractions. The on street parking was ok as it's on a quiet side street. Myriam served us an excellent breakfast in the garden. The guest's roof terrace offers great views across to the old Cite. There are hundreds of places to eat in the evening we found the Jardin d'ete excellent, great pizzas and a good ambiance within a walled garden just below the Cite walls

  We stumbled across Demuere du Pareur when our original accommodation fell through at the last minute. How lucky we were! Owner Serge is an absolute gent and friendly without being intrusive.   Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later. We Will definitely return to this guest house. - This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster.
