  This is such a lovely, small hotel in a fabulous location for touring Paris on foot, centrally located to most of the major sites and attractions. The staff is warm, friendly and most helpful. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, and a welcome respite from the busy city. The lift does not go all the way to the top fl... vad folk säger » oor, so if this is an issue, request a room on the first five floors. We stayed at Hotel Chomel for seven nights and loved it. We would return witho - We booked from a courtyard where our apartment had fallen through, in the very nice neighborhood where it and Chomel are located, t 8:30 p.m. Arrived at 8:40. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.

  The location was amazing - in the best and very cozy district in all Paris, near wonderful Sorbonne, where you can eat gourmet breakfast, also near metro station. It's next to many cinemas and great cafes - everything in one place.   The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were adequate. Nothing fancy and met our needs. TV, non smoking rooms parking garage and easy walk to the train station. Easy to find the hotel however parking could be a problem as there are limited available spaces compared to ration of rooms.   I liked the area a lot, since it was an urban residential area. I had awonderful dinner for a low price at a nearby restaurant, and most peoplewalking by waved at the owners. - easy to find, small room but clean, tasty breakfast..no problems at all..I would recomend Villa Van Gogh
