Enjoyed 3 nights of luxury during 5 weeks in France. Loved the quiet location (car GPS needed to find it the first time), but only a short drive into Carcassonne. Our junior suite was huge with contemporary but classic décor; separate shower & big bath, and toilet; king-size bed; block out shutters & thick walls so we slept well. Free coff

We received an excellent welcome from the owner who supplied us with full information about the area which we wouldn't have got from a travel book.
The chateau has been restored into a contemporary hotel with excellent fittings and wi fi. Our suite was very large, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is about an 8 minute drive from Carcassonne. It is worth visiting the Canal du Midi at Trebes and the picturesque Legrasse.

The hotel was in an excellent and beautiful location, literally at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to the castle. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and they all spoke great English. My boyfriend and I (we are both 24yrs old) visited the hotel spa during our stay for a back massage which was lovely - I highly recommend. You get priva

Excellent value at the Hotel Montmorency but great bonus to be able to use the facilities of the Hotel Du Chateau. Wonderful position so close to the old Cite, beautiful gardens and pool - you could sit on comfortable sofas on the terrace with a glass of wine in the evening, overlooking the Citadel and watching people toil up the hill!
