  Enjoyed 3 nights of luxury during 5 weeks in France. Loved the quiet location (car GPS needed to find it the first time), but only a short drive into Carcassonne. Our junior suite was huge with contemporary but classic décor; separate shower & big bath, and toilet; king-size bed; block out shutters & thick walls so we slept well. Free coff... vad folk säger » ee anytime from decent machine. Breakfast (not included) was good variety of cold options. Restaurant on-site run separately with good food & goo - We received an excellent welcome from the owner who supplied us with full information about the area which we wouldn't have got from a travel book. The chateau has been restored into a contemporary hotel with excellent fittings and wi fi. Our suite was very large, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is about an 8 minute drive from Carcassonne. It is worth visiting the Canal du Midi at Trebes and the picturesque Legrasse.
