  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The food in the restaurant was amazing. Highly reco... vad folk säger » mmend. - We loved the marvellous staff who were fun and very helpful. The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

  The room was spacious and clean. Staffs at the hotel the restaurant were very kind. All the concerns for our small boy (renting the arm tube for swimming and high chair for dinner & breakfast) made our vacation more comfortable.   The women conscierges were wonderful, allowing us to relax in France andpractice our flawed French. We were able to picnic poolside after hours,just relax in a beautiful house. We had many requests for extra towels,ashtray for cigars, directions, etc, and each was met with a smile. Wewould love to return. Ambroise is a lovely town and is a great place to stay and take day trips to the area's many chateaux, and the chateaux at Amboise itself is lovely. If I were to go back again, I'd want to stay again at Le Manois Saint Thomas. I recommend it highly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight.   I really enjoyed my time in Amboise. To some extent that was due to the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops.   The owner, Roselyn, was friendly, gracious and courageous as we communicated with very limited knowledge of each other's language. Fortunately, her English was much better than our French! The rooms were very comfortable, each with a dedicated bathroom with a great shower and even a spa in one of them! The whole experience was a nice surprise - The amazing owner. If you want to have a great, intimate experience and truly get to know a really nice lady, then choose this tucked away charmer of a B&B. We arrived tired after a very long drive. We had stopped at a store and had picnic provisions to enjoy in the garden. The lady of the house not only supplied ice to chill our wine, but she brought out plates and cutlery for our picnic. We lounged on the back terrace in the most comfortable chairs for three hours, so nice after two weeks
