  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The food in the restaurant was amazing. Highly reco... vad folk säger » mmend. - We loved the marvellous staff who were fun and very helpful. The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

  The room was spacious and clean. Staffs at the hotel the restaurant were very kind. All the concerns for our small boy (renting the arm tube for swimming and high chair for dinner & breakfast) made our vacation more comfortable.   Stayed in room 14 which is a an upgrade room. Renovations were recently done and I would imagine we were one of the first few to stay in this room. The room was very large (bigger than US hotel rooms for sure) with a queen bed and two leather chairs along with a desk and a bureau (and TV). All the amenities provided. The location is great as its near the castle and the main walking street with all the cafes an - - Excellent location within the Loire Valley (Amboise is quite picturesque and charming) and adjacent to Royal Chateau Amboise; lots of shops/restaurants mere steps from hotel - easy access driving to chateaux in Loire Valley; free parking nearby - clean rooms; spacious for European standards - helpful staff; desk clerks spoke English well - good assortment at breakfast (breads, meats/cheeses, fruit, yogurt, coffe/tea/juice) in nice reatuarant with attentive staff - reasonable price

  The rooms are above their Italian restaurant which is an excellent place to eat. Breakfast of orange juice, coffee or tea, and wonderful fresh bread and croissants with butter and jam is served in the restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. A great bed and breakfast find. - I recently stayed in this lovely guest house for a few days and I really enjoyed staying there. The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was so quiet and yet right in the middle of Amboise! Perfect location. Breakfast was good and the restaurant below the rooms served very tasty Italian food. I would definitely go back there!

  I really enjoyed my time in Amboise. To some extent that was due to the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops.
