  We enjoyed our stay thoroughly - in a suite on the top floor with a beautiful terrace with a view of the Palace of the Popes, where we had our welcome champagne in the afternoon sun and watched the night lights over the palace after dinner. Fantastic atmosphere, oil canvas on the walls, antique furniture pieces - an experience of time travel. The foo - The staff were highly attentive, especially Fernando, who I believe was the manager. He made us feel very special given it was a birthday trip. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, walking distance to the shops and Pope's palace. The rooms are huge by European standards and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

  This was a nice place, close to the main part of town and close to all touristy sites. On arrival Jean Paul was extremely helpful in getting us settled and making sure we knew all about our accommodation and informing us about the Breakfast and other meals on offer.   The lady on reception was very helpful. A good basic hotel for the price, especially at Festival time in Avignon. The walk in to Avignon was unexpectedly pleasant with a cycle track running beside the river.   We stayed here for our 8th anniversary and first trip to Provence. We have traveled quite a bit around Europe and there were a couple of things we really enjoyed about this hotel. (We stayed in one of the bungalows, not the main house.) The entire estate was well cared-for and very clean. We even had an air-conditioning unit that was not loud and worked quite well - Charming English speaking host. Excellent food. Very clean and recently decorated villa. Car parking good, with electric gates closed at night. Two miles from Avignon centre. There is a very large free car park that is manned, with a free shuttle bus that takes you into the centre of Avignon. one-and-a-half miles from the hotel.
