  We booked the hotel as it is situated on the Tour de France route and we asked if we could have a room with a balcony overlooking the route. Raphael could not have been more helpful and we had an excellent view of the entire race. Apart from the race, La Clusaz is a lovely place and the character of the hotel and the warm reception made our time w... vad folk säger » onderful.   We stayed in a double room which over looked the pool and surrounding mountains for 4nights it was 200 Euro. Fantastic price! The room itself was basic but the central locality of l Escale and their food in the restaurant made this stay 5 star. We arrived into geneva airport and got a bus direct to Annecy (town) and another bus direct to Le Grand ... vad folk säger » Bornand village. It was all very easy to find! L Escale is only a short 5minutes walk from the bus station with great sign posts directing you! The st - We stayed only 1 night over weekend, but can admit great personnel working in this hotel. The location is very convenient with own parking space and just several minutes walk to the center. Convenient room with the kitchen (equipped), very clean.
