  The location and building were amazing. It was just a fabulous place. We loved every minute. It was old world and had not been tampered with too much.   We stayed in a very spacious Privilege Triple Room with spotless large bathroom. The beds were comfy. The location is very central, right off of Cours Mirabeau. They have a parking available around the corner. It is tight but still very convenient. We didn't have a breakfast at the hotel - we choose a local cafe on Cours Mirabeau instead. And the local market on Saturday is a must; it is your true, classic Provence market where you can - Great location in the historic centre, and right beside a shopping complex. We were lucky to arrive for the opening of the Christmas market. Our room (Privilege) was very large with 2 windows and mini-balcony. Large bathroom. Although we were on the second floor without an elevator, our luggage was taken care of and when the staff noticed that my husband had some mobility issues they offered the 'cargo elevator' (which is not for public use) if he ever felt too tired for the stairs.

  Great location, 5 mins walk to the main rotonde at Cours Mirabeau. Free (open air) parking in such a central location was awesome. Very easy to find and reach. We arrived in the evening and were assisted by a young girl: probably the best check-in experience in years (attentive, trying to anticipate our needs, helpful, polite, everything). The Reception staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location, relatively close to the major highways is perfect. We will certainly come back on our next trip !

Good breafast available, but with fresh croissants and fruit on sale 5-10 minutes walk away, we only took the breakfast on the first da - Friendly staff, clean facilities, and a very quiet location, despite being only a 5 min walk to both the local railway (non-TGV) and bus stations. Aix is a vibrant destination, with a range of facilities and attractions from the Cezanne trail, to country walking around Mont Sainte-Victoire, and of course lots of shops including a vibrant market several days a week. Marseille is a half-hour train ride away, and we took the bus to the beautiful beach at Cassis.
