  We were immediately upgraded on arrival to the largest room in the hotel - which clearly added something to our overall experience! However, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was very good, the overally condition of the hotel was good and the location was excellent (2 minutes walk from the arc de triomphe). Breakfast is expensive, though, but all hotels in paris are charging expensive for breakfast.   I particularly liked two members of the staff - one worked on reception and was called Nicolas and the other was the chambermaid. Nicolas had a particularly warm and welcoming demeanor as well as being very helpful. When myself and my daughter accidentally interrupted the chambermaid while cleaning our room she was very pleasant and accommodatin... vad folk säger » g. Additionally, she was always had a warm greeting for us in the mornings when we met her in the corridor. The location of the hotel was excellent. - We had our 10 year old grand daughter with us - Booked a family room - there was a separate bedroom for her. Rooms had been updated The hotel is being updated and work is happening on a daily basis - Sign at reception apologies in advance for any noise - Construction work is done between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm - Did not effect our stay. Staff were only to happy to offer directions and support. Breakfast was 9 Euros and was very basic compared to other hotels where we stayed on this trip. Overal

  We arrived very early and was unable to check in but we were able to check in room early once ready about 2 hours early. Hotel staff pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
