  Very efficient, helpful, friendly staff. The hotel has been recently renovated with beautiful new fittings. Good food served at breakfast. Great location. - Just a great base for Paris. The Metro is just outside the door. Great Hotel and Saint Germain is the place to be. Would use this hotel again.

I was close to the metro, close to Notre Dame and the hop on/hop off tour was right near the hotel too. Made touring Paris so easy! I booked a larger room - I thought it was perfect for one person. I think two people would have been cramped - but for me it was great (besides who needs a large room when you're in Paris?) I read a lot of reviews before I decided on this hotel. I had a very quiet room - I was facing the courtyard/buildings so I had no noise from the street.

  The staff were very friendly & helpful. We needed laundry the very first night in Paris and they found for us within walking distance and open on a Saturday night. All week they went above what we asked for. The neighborhood was very fun. Always something to watch from our window. Loved the vitality of the area.   This is not a traditional hotel, but rather an apartment-style hotel with only four or five suites, each with a small kitchenette. Our suite was the smallest – the “studio” next to the office on the second floor (they didn’t have a standard reception desk), but it was exactly as lovely as shown on the website. We were given a key (a real one) attached by a chain to a very large heavy square bronz - This apartment was so beautiful and charming, oozing with Parisian style. The location was great within walking distance to restaurants, Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre and shopping, with the metro station right across the road. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. I was contacted the day before arrival to find out what time they could expect us so that they could arrange an "appropriate welcome".   The staff were so relaxed and welcoming. They brought our bags up to our room and did not linger expecting a tip. It is in a fantastic location very close to St Sulpice church and St Sulpice Metro station making it easy to find and travel to and from. The room was nice and very quiet overlooking the courtyard. Short walk to St Germaine de Pres where there are lots of bars, cafes and shops and easy w - This is a very nice hotel. We had a top floor with a balcony view of the St. Sulpice church. It's in a good residential neighborhood, with plenty of family restaurants in the area, at a slightly better price and away from the touristy area. Also fantastic bookstores and good shopping, a stones throw from the Jardin de Luxembourg. The price is slightly lower because you have to walk an extra two blocks to get to the middle of the action. Honestly, one of the better secrets for a good Paris stay.
